Please use Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome web browser.

Click here to download the certificate.

Open the RMEducationCA SHA384.crt file (1). It may prompt you that this file type may harm your computer, click 'Keep/Open anyway' and click on the 'Install Certificate...' button. (2)

Click 'Next' (3) and choose 'Place all certificates in the following store' (4)

Click 'Browse' (5) and choose 'Trusted Root Certification Authorties' (6) and click 'OK' (7)

Click 'Next' (8) then 'Finish'

When asked 'Do you want to install this certificate' click 'Yes'

Once installed, close your web browser completely and re-open it so it picks up the certificate.

If you use your Yavneh email address to login to your Chromebook the certificate is automatically deployed (no further action needed). For personal Google accounts follow the steps below:

1. Click here to download the certificate (RMEducationCA SHA384.crt) to your Downloads folder.
2. Click the 'Copy text' button
   Copy to clipboard Copy text
3. Click here to open a new tab in Chrome and paste the text from step 2 in the address bar (Ctrl + V on your keyboard)
4. Click on the 'Authorities' tab and then 'Import'
5. You should see RMEducationCA SHA394.crt in your Downloads folder - double click on this file.
6. Tick 'Trust this certificate for all three boxes' and click 'OK'.
7. Refresh the Yavneh BYOD page and it should show a green tick to confirm the certificate is installed.

Open your Downloads folder and find RMEducationCANew_mpkg installer.

Press and hold the Control button on your keyboard, click the installer then choose Open from the shortcut menu.

Note: if you simply double click on the installer instead, Apple will block the installer as an unidentified developer (see here)

Follow the wizard to install the certificate. It will prompt you for your Apple password as part of the installation.

iOS

Your device will prompt to download a configuration profile - tap 'Allow'

Navigate to Settings - 'Profile Downloaded' and tap on 'Install'. You will need to enter your passcode.

Navigate to Settings -> General -> About and scroll down to Certificate Trust. Switch on the RM Education Root Certification Authoritory and tap 'Continue'

Android

Click here to download the certificate (RMEducationCA SHA384.crt) onto your Android device.

Navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi preferences and tap Advanced to get the "Install certificates" option.

Select the file you downloaded in Step 1.

On the "Name the certificate" screen, give the certificate a name and press the OK button.

You can verify that the certificate is installed by going to Settings > Security > Trusted Credentials > User.
